Alistair Sharp grew up in a Methodist home and was ordained in the Methodist Church in 2006 after several years in Senior Industrial Management in UK and North America. He is married to Susan with three grown-up children. His passion is seeing a new and courageous kind of church emerging from within current structures, through new ministries and brave new initiatives. He has overseen the development of several locally based Community & Education Projects, and is currently the Chair of Lighthouse Homes, and Intentional Health as well as the Methodist Superintendent of Bodmin, Padstow & Wadebridge Circuit, which includes the vibrant ‘Tubestation’ Surfing Church in Polzeath. He says ‘as an institution, churches need significant structural re-design, in order to prepare local mission for the next twenty years.’
